On train to Anaheim

March 18, 2010

I love trains.  And today’s ride is exceptional as a glistening Pacific ocean is just to my right. Surfs up!  I left Santa Barbara about an hour ago on my way to Anaheim where I present at the Los Angeles Congress.  This is a gathering of some 55,000 Christians/Catholics at the Anaheim Convention Center for three days  My first talk is on the four-gospel journey.  The second is on the Gospel of John, its Passion account and the ancient celebration of Easter that we today is called Triduum.  The ancient Triduum is far older than Holy Week and works on different principles.  If you are looking for a transformational way to celebrate liturgy, and wish to sing of the one Christ beyond dualism – consider joining us for the Easter retreat at La Casa de Maria Retreat in Santa Barbara.  And/or come to the Study Week on Triduum the last week of July – also at La Casa de Maria.

If you are at LA Congress – stop by the Harper booth at lunchtime on Saturday 11:30 to 1 p.m.  I would love to say hello. Also look for the posted times that I will be in the booksigning area.   See you there.
